Our Coaches
MAYA
I've been climbing for over 12 years across gyms and outdoors crags, with experience in bouldering, sport, and trad. I was a competitive climber and have spent 4+ years coaching. I enjoy helping people build confidence on the wall, move more efficiently, and better understand how they improve. My approach focuses on controlled, intentional movement, especially static technique, body positioning, and precise footwork. I'm interested in how small adjustments can make a meaningful difference. I work with climbers of all levels, whether they're just getting started, expanding their skillset, or working through challenges like injury or mental barriers.
ISAAC
Hi, I'm Isaac, a youth program lead and Routesetter here at Cayuga Climbs. Whether you're stepping onto the wall for the first time and looking for a low-pressure introduction to the sport, or pushing into new grades and need a structured training plan to get you there, I meet you where you're at and focus on your needs as an individual. I work with kids and adults alike. For younger climbers, I bring the same focused, individualized attention to private coaching that can be harder to find in larger group programs, giving your child the space, support, and guidance they need to fully unlock their potential on the wall.
